Three out of three for Nico, Devils

Perfect week for Nico and the New Jersey Devils. Thanks to three home wins vs. the Colorado Avalanche (4-3), the Anaheim Ducks (4-1) and the LA Kings (3-1), the Devils temporarily catapulted themselves into third place in the Metropolitan Division.

Individually, Nico registered two points (1G, 1A) in the three games and finished the week a plus-5. He recorded a total of ten shots on goal and prevailed in 59% of his faceoffs. Overall, he averaged 17:08 minutes of ice time per game.

Coming up, New Jersey will take to the road as they are slated to play three games across the West and South this week, starting with a matchup vs. the Dallas Stars on Tuesday night (8 PM EST). The next day, the Devils will meet the Colorado Avalanche for a rematch of last week’s matchup (9 PM EST), before closing out the week with a trip to Las Vegas on Friday (6 PM EST).
