Rough week for Nico and the Devils

Least productive week of the season for Nico and the New Jersey Devils so far. In three games vs. the San Jose Sharks (2-5), the Minnesota Wild (2-5) and Winnipeg Jets (4-8), the Devils picked up neither a win nor a point.

Thus, for the first time this season, the Devils came up empty throughout an entire week of NHL play. For Nico, the week resulted in two more points (1 G, 1A), an even plus-minus and an average of 19:13 of ice time. He also recorded a total of six shots on the opposing goal, while prevailing in 40% of his face-offs.

The Devils’ season continues on Monday night when they host the Ottawa Senators in New Jersey. This week’s other games are vs. the Philadelphia Flyers on Wednesday night (7 PM ET), the Nashville Predators on Friday night (7:30 PM ET) and at the New York Islanders on Saturday night (7:30 PM ET)
