Nico joins forces with Sensopro

Nico and Swiss fitness and health enterprise Sensopro are joining forces. The 27-year-old is joining the Bern-based coordination training specialists as an investor and co-owner, serving as a brand ambassador and actively contributing his elite sports expertise to the development of new training concepts.

The collaboration’s primary goal is to further develop the “brain-body connection” and to leverage insights gained from professional sports to build better training regimens—applicable to elite athletics, general fitness, or rehabilitation.

For Nico, the partnership is as much about promoting general health and well-being, as it is about optimizing his own performance:

“As a professional athlete, ‘performance’ is something I think about every day. How to read a situation faster or how to execute a movement with even more precision. In hockey, you’re battling for position and balance quite often. This is one area where I see Sensopro’s potential, in bridging physical and cognitive training.”

The short-term goal of the partnership is to design the first joint training programs by late summer/autumn 2027 with the aim of allowing sports enthusiasts to benefit in sustainable fashion.
