Devils and Nico continue winning ways
The New Jersey Devils and Nico continue to pile up wins during the early stages of this NHL season. In another close encounter, the Devils again came out on top, defeating the visiting Arizona Coyotes by a score of 4-3.
Two third period power play goals proved to be the difference in a match-up between one of the league’s hottest and the statistically worst team in the NHL so far. In 14:30 minutes of total ice time, Nico did not record a shot on goal for the first time this season and had the upper hand in 57% of his face offs.
The team will now enjoy two days off before embarking on their first west coast trip of the season. Starting Wednesday, they will face the Canucks, followed by the Oilers and Flames.
