Devils, Nico collect five more points

Four games, five points – that’s this week’s tally for Nico and the New Jersey Devils after games vs. Utah (3-0), Carolina (2-4), Ottawa (3-1) and Washington (5-6 OT). Through eight games, the Devils have accumulated eleven points, which currently puts them at the top of the NHL standings. However, New Jersey has also played the most games in the entire league so far.

Through two weeks of the new season, Nico has collected eight points (5 goals / 3 assists) and currently stands at a plus-3. Last week, he scored six points in four games and recorded 16 shots on goal. Per night, he was on the ice for about 20:06 minutes and finished the week with a plus-3 rating.

The Devils have four more games coming up this week. After the opener on Tuesday night (6:45 PM EST) vs. Tampa Bay, the Devils will travel to Detroit to face the Red Wings on Thursday night before concluding the week back at the Rock. On Friday, they will entertain the New York Islanders, before another home game vs. Anaheim on Sunday evening. All three games will start at 7 PM EST.
