Devils remain perfect at home

The New Jersey Devils and Nico remain undefeated at home. In the past week, the Devils defeated two more members of the East’s current elite in the Montreal Canadiens (4–3 OT) and the Pittsburgh Penguins (2–1 SO), thus maintaining their position atop the Conference.

With 22 points through 15 games, New Jersey currently sits in first place in the East, where all 16 teams are separated by a mere eight points. Individually, Nico failed to score this past week but nonetheless finished the week a plus one. On average, he received 21:27 minutes of ice-time and prevailed in 57.4% of his faceoffs.

In the coming week, the Devils have three more games on schedule. They will host the NY Islanders on Monday night (7 PM EST), before taking to the road themselves. They will play at Chicago on Wednesday (9:30 PM EST), before closing out the week in Washington on Saturday (7 PM EST).
