A winning week

Strong start into the new NHL season for Nico and the New Jersey Devils. Playing in four games since kicking things off on October 15th, the Devils have come away with three wins and six points.

 

Aside from the successful opener vs. the Blackhawks (4-3 OT, the Devils also came out on top in their match-ups vs. the Kraken (4:2) and the Sabres (2:1 n.V.). Their lone defeat came at the hands of the Capitals, who smothered New Jersey on Thursday night at the Rock.

 

In the three games since the opener, Nico scored one goal and one assist, recorded an average of 20:38 minutes of ice time and prevailed in 46% of his face-offs. He finished the week a plus-two.

 

Next up for the Devils are the Calgary Flames on Tuesday night (7 PM ET), followed by their first road game of the season in Pittsburgh (7 PM ET on Saturday), before returning to Jersey to take on the Columbus Blue Jackets on Sunday afternoon (5 PM ET).
