Three games, three wins, and six points: The New Jersey Devils and Nico are off to a hot start in the new NHL season, thanks to this week’s victories at the Blue Jackets (2-3), vs. the Panthers (3-1) and vs. the Oilers (5-3) on Saturday afternoon.

 

On a personal level, Nico recorded one goal and three assists over the past three games, while accumulating a plus two rating. Per night, he received 20:35 minutes of ice time, prevailed in 46.2% of his faceoffs and recorded a total of six shots on goal over the course of the week.

 

This week, the Devils have four games on schedule for the first time this season. After a quick trip to Toronto on Tuesday night (7 PM EST), New Jersey will face the Minnesota Wild at home just 24 hours later, before closing out the week with two more games over the weekend. They’ll first host the Sharks on Friday night (7 PM EST), before taking on the Avs in a Sunday matinee (1 PM EST) at the Rock.
