Devils, Nico split their games

Another week marked by close defeats for Nico and the New Jersey Devils, who came away with an impressive win over the New York Rangers (7-4) on Tuesday, but then fell to the Toronto Maple Leafs (2-3) and the Washington Capitals (3-4) in consecutive games before closing out the week with a win vs. the Montreal Canadiens (3-2 SO) on Sunday night.

For Nico, the past week brought about the following statistics: 1 G (18), 4 assists (29), six shots on goal and 22:14 minutes of ice time while prevailing in 52% of his face-offs. He finished the week a plus-two.

After a three-day break, the will continue their season Thursday night (7 PM ET) at Boston, before returning home for a weekend-doubleheader vs. the Panthers (Sat., 12:30 PM ET) and the Islanders (Sun., 4 PM ET).
